Huo's Lab

We are Huo's Lab located at UF | IFAS Mid- Florida Research and Education Center in Apopka, FL. Our research focuses on using a comprehensive approach to understand and improve the genetics of ornamental and specialty crops, incorporating genetics, genomics, molecular biology and biotechnology.  Huo’s research program encompasses a wide variety of high-value horticultural crops, including lettuce, tobacco, tomato, begonia, marigold, citrus, snapdragon and petunia.
